Ian Paul is a freelance technology writer with a special focus on Windows and more than a decade of experience. For most of that time he has written daily for PCWorld and various IDG-owned outlets including Macworld, Greenbot, and TechHive. Ian's work has also appeared other places around the web including The Huffington Post, MSNBC, Reuters, and ABC News. 

Ian's passion for technology began with his early programming days on a Commodore Vic 20, followed years later by numerous hours spent on BBS' during the era of the IBM clones. 

Education

Ian received his undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and has a Master's Degree in Music from Indiana University Bloomington.
